Rejoice holds Visayas in search of the next shampoo girl

EXCEPT wonderful beaches, mouthwatering food, lush greenery and rich culture, the Visayan region is also home to beautiful, strong and independent Philippines. Shampoo brand P&G Rejoice aims to showcase and celebrate the beauties of Visayan through its #RejoiceGirlGwapaKaDai campaign.

The first of its kind in the region, the countryside celebrates the beautiful islands and the daughters of the Visayas. This is the first time that a major shampoo brand has localized its campaign, appealing to different personalities across the Visayas.

Rejoice’s latest endorser Maymay Entrata, along with other popular Rejoice daughters and beauty queens and vloggers from the region, announced at a virtual event that it was Bisaya’s turn to shine.

Girls between the ages of 18 and 30 can join in the research and three girls from three different regions will be selected as finalists as they dance on the latest #RejoiceGirlGwapaKaDai jingle produced by renowned Cebu music composer Jude Gitamondoc. Known for their eye-catching branded jingles, Rejoice had original music created especially for this campaign.

“We are thrilled with this campaign because it gives Visayan girls a chance to look their best,” said Miss Millennial 2019 and the new Rejoice shampoo girl representing Central Visayas, Nicole Borromeo.

Three entries per area will be chosen as semi-finalists based on the following criteria: 40% brand fit, 30% quality of submission and creative execution, and 30% mastery and choreography.

Rejoice shampoo aspirants can submit their applications from September 9 to October 13 at 10 p.m. The finalists will be selected on October 14 at 2 p.m. and will be announced on the official Rejoice social media pages.

Nine finalists will receive a three-month supply of Rejoice 3-in-1 Rich Magnolia and a chance to be featured on Rejoice’s various social media pages. The grand prize winner will receive a one-year supply of Rejoice 3-in-1 Rich Magnolia and will be featured on the brand’s social media, local newspapers and blogs.
