house fire

Despite his immense wealth and success, Jackson claimed that 50 Cent was unable to support himself growing up.

“I know what it’s like to have nothing, okay. I jumped out of a burning house. I had nothing. I had to rebuild my life on $6,700 a month.”

The house fire he was referring to was a house fire that allegedly took place during a legal proceeding between 50 Cent and Shaniqua Tompkins, Jackson’s mother.

In a previous interview with Streetz954atl, she claimed “we had a fire during the legal process and we lost everything and he [50 Cent] got the insurance money. He was trying to kick us out of the house… We lost everything.”

“We jumped from a building on the second floor and he got his insurance money.”

Socks

“I’m not talking about I want a Lambo; at the time I wanted socks at least,” he said. “Basketball socks [are] twelve dollars. I shouldn’t miss anything, should I?”

Choke No Joke shared the conversation on his Instagram account, captioning it “[…] The manipulation of the mind and the division of father and child by mother is a conversation that had to take place because people do not realize the mental illness caused by the separation of father and child. [sic]”

“We go halfway over a baby and then it’s the mother’s child, but we’re financially responsible with no custody rights except by court order.”

Not everyone online sympathized with Jackson, as many pointed out that his lifestyle was too lavish.

“Marquise Jackson (50 cents [first] born) is a “mother son” and a “mother son” is very dangerous because he looks more like a woman than a man, [sic]” tweeted an user.

As of this writing, 50 Cent has yet to address his son’s claims against him.
